Trelligence Affinity is project programming and schematic design software for architects and other AEC professionals. Available as a stand-alone desktop tool for those who do not use CAD software, Affinity Desktop; and as a plug-in to ArchiCAD from Graphisoft, Affinity for ArchiCAD; Affinity files can also be exported for integration into the CAD software or estimation tool of your choice.

Program
Affinity software starts with tools for architectural programming. You can collect program information in a central place and share it with your project constituents. Instead of managing forms or keeping track of lists, use Affinity project programming as the consistent source to manage all the information you need to track about your projects.
Visualize
Affinity’s schematic design tools help you visualize your space program and share ideas with your clients. Visualize the site plan, each story of your building and lay out the spaces and rooms with Affinity’s fun-to-use graphical tools for space planning.
Analyze
Use Affinity software to analyze the program requirements in relation to the schematic design so you can easily identify violations and try various scenarios. Conduct what-if scenarios, track the history of requirement changes and easily report on the program and project plans.
Integrate
The work you do in Affinity architectural software is never wasted. Import the Affinity program and schematic design into your CAD software, estimation tools or other architectural software. If you use ArchiCAD from Graphisoft, you can open Affinity files in ArchiCAD and continue to build your plan with the added CAD features.
Customize
Affinity is built to model your architectural processes. You can customize the project programming questionnaire and forms so the information you track is specific to your type of projects. Whether you build hospitals or factories, Affinity can track the details of your program and doesn’t require that you manage information you don’t need. In the schematic design tools, you can organize the spaces, name them and change them to meet your design needs. Affinity is flexible software that makes your work easy.
Benefits of Affinity
- Offers a consistent way to capture project requirements from the building owner, code lists and other sources
- Helps explore cost and space alternatives and trade-offs
- Delivers a way to collaborate with the project owners and key constituents while reviewing their goals and project opportunities
- Provides a fun and accurate schematic design tool for space planning
- Clearly flags requirements that are not being met in the design
- Assists to reduce costs and frustrating rework at the construction site
- Avoids error-prone and time-consuming reentry of data in CAD software and estimating systems
Affinity Desktop
Trelligence Affinity Desktop is a complete package of architecture software for AEC professionals such as architects, designers, builders, engineers and owner/operators. Often the professional who meets with the client/owner is not the same person who creates the detailed designs in CAD software, so Affinity Desktop is an ideal tool for the client-facing architect or designer.
Affinity includes capabilities to automate the following processes:
Architectureal Project Programming
1. Enter program data in Affinity questionnaire
- Project properties
- Site properties
- Building properties
- Space Program
2. Identify key requirements
- About the program
- Regarding cost or space
- Relational information
- Track general information as text
Schematic Design
1. Define and lay out the site
- Size, shape, rotation, setbacks, survey data, topology
2. Layout the building
- Stories
- Spaces and specific rooms
- Openings and objects
Project Analysis & Validation
1. Analyze the plan
- Review the program data
- Evaluate the history of requirements
- Report on details or overview
- Create HTML or Microsoft® Excel reports
- Track history of changes
2. Validate compliance with requirements
- Review flagged requirements not being met
- Report on requirements
- Build custom reports for any constituent
- Feed Program Data into Detailed Design
