3D ProfilerTool:
This tool enables profiles (shapes) to be extruded through a number of points in free space. The profiles can be totally managed via Profile Manager which is an integral part of the package.

Make your own profiles, save them under Profile Manager to build up a library for future use. Once created you have full editing control over the path and profiles. Standard steel sections included.

Parametric Profiles
Special parametric profiles, such as steel sections supplied with 3D Profiler, have extra parameters for better control. E.g. a steel I-beam might have parameters that control the flange width and thickness, the web thickness and the inside radius
