The architectural design process is evolutionary by nature and relies on good clear communication of changes and revisions. Cadimage Tools Revision Manager supplements the standard Drawing Management functionality provided by Archicad 10, to assist designers in tracking and communicating revisions throughout the design process. Together with administrative tools for document transmittal and back referencing this tool is a must for all Archicad Offices.
Revision Manager
Revision Manager supplements the standard Archicad Drawing Management functionality with the addition of Revisions, Back Referencing and Document Transmittal.
Revisions
Revisions can be easily attached to layouts with the use of a docked palette and displayed on the layouts with a special Revision object.
Publishing Revisions
When you publish to PDF from Archicad the names of the PDF files created include the Layout Reference and the Layout Name. Revision Manager gives you the ability to prefix the Layout Name with the latest Revision ID so it is also included in the title of the Published drawings.
Layout Information
Include the latest Revision Number with the Layout Number or other layout information with a special Layout Info Object.
Transmission Form
Create and record document transmittal information including what layouts, their revisions, recipients, formats and scales. You can even include drawings from external sources in the transmission form.
Back Referencing
Archicad already allows you to display the Layout Reference within the Section or Detail Marker. Revision Manager allows for you to do the opposite of this. The Drawing Title supplied with Revision Manager includes the Back Reference to the drawing that the Section or Detail Marker appears in.
Export Information
Export all the revision and document transmittal information into XML files in formats to be read in by excel spreadsheets or access databases.
